MIA

Getting back into routine...
Vacations always really derail me and it takes a solid week or more to get back into routine and in control.  Now that my house is put back together, laundry is caught up, kids are back into a nap/sleep schedule, grocery shopping is done and fridge is stocked...I can get back into routine with working out.  I have lots of fresh fruit and will be heading to get more in a couple days.  Fresh fruit and veggies are great this time of year.  Who doesn't love strawberries, bananas, WATERMELON, pineapple...bring it on.
As for working out...it is HOT so indoor exercise is mandatory.  I have it planned for the week and will let you know how it works out.  The time of day for everyday is written out on my whiteboard in my room. 

Now, LOSING IT with Jillian....AWESOME show...I LOVE IT...if you have not seen it, watch it.  It was incredibly motivating to see that the lady this week was able to loss 30 pounds in SIX weeks BY HERSELF...no Jillian, no Bob, no BL ranch...it shows if you really want something, YOU can achieve it.  Hence, my renewed motivation in getting what I want.

I saw it once. And I liked it, except she is SO dramatic. It was a little overboard. But I like the idea behind it.

I wish they didn't have to turn every episode of that and BL into a psychology experiment where Jillian is suddenly a doctor and tries to get into their heads. She's always SO MEAN at first, which is probably just to give the show some teeth and get people interested. I do love watching both shows to see the transformation and to get motivated to lose weight myself. This week's show had an LDS family, which was really cool...and I loved how they looked a the end of the show. The mom lost 74 pounds! I need to do that!

Hey Angie! Good to have you back! And yes, I LOVE fresh fruit at this time of the year! Especially watermelon! Yum!

As far as Jillian's show, I'm a little torn. I'm watching it, but I'm still not so sure if I'm liking it. lol My problem with it is.... it seems so unrealistic. I mean come on, Jillian shows up at your house for 5 days and all of a sudden, you can do a 360!?! When you've struggled with your weight for years and have never been able to lose it before!?! Well, that's just hard for me to believe.

And then, the lady this past week that lost 74 lbs.... they're saying she did it in 8 weeks! My goodness! That's over 9 lbs a week! What the heck did she do!?! Whatever it is, I sure wish they would share her secret! lol

Next week's preview looked really good though. I love the dad! lol He's at the table eating when Jillian calls and he tells his wife not to tell her he's there! lol Too funny! I can't wait for that one.
